During the making of Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath the Church of Scientology was invited to make a contribution, and to respond to the allegations made against it. The Church of Scientology declined to be interviewed, but instead delivered a number of documents to the programmes’ producer denying the allegations made against it, and in turn making a number of counter allegations against individuals who appear in the series. A number of these have been reproduced below to provide a wider understanding of the Church of Scientology’s perspective. The opinions expressed, and the allegations made, in these documents belong solely to the Church of Scientology, and are not those of A+E Networks UK.

Episode 2: Fair Game

The second episode of "Aftermath" examines former International Spokesperson of the Church of Scientology International Mike Rinder's disconnection from the Church and, as a result, his family. In the lead up to its premier, the "Aftermath" production received letters from both the Church and lawyers for Mr. Rinder's ex-wife and brother assailing Mr. Rinder's character and trustworthiness. Included with the letter from the Church of Scientology International were various documents that the Church of Scientology International claims further discredit Mr. Rinder. With the exception of his wife's medical records, which we have omitted in the interest of privacy, the letter and the accompanying documents from the Church of Scientology International are included below with original highlighting. While Mr. Rinder, like Ms. Remini, appears in all seven episodes of the series, we include the Church of Scientology International's letter here because he is the primary focus of this episode.
