Body in the Suitcase: The Murder of Deborah Chong

On 11th June 2021, CCTV showed 38-year-old Jemma Mitchell going towards the house of Deborah Chong, a friend from her church, with a large blue suitcase. Hours later, Mitchell is recorded leaving the area, dragging two - visibly heavy suitcases behind her. It wasn't until Deborah's headless body was discovered two weeks later, over 200 miles away, that the significance of those CCTV images hit home.

In this gripping two-part series, Body in the Suitcase: The Murder of Deborah Chong takes viewers deep into the twists and turns of this unprecedented case, through first-hand accounts from family members, eyewitnesses and police.

With the help of experts, the show unveils the plot Jemma is accused of implementing and explores the complex circumstances that surrounded her unlikely friendship with Deborah.
