Re-versioning Editor EMEA

Job Description: A+E Networks™ UK is the leading broadcaster of ground-breaking channels HISTORY®, Crime & Investigation Network®, BIO™, and H2® operating across EMEA and forms part of an award-winning global multi-media content network. We want someone to re-version and deliver promos, branding and creative work across EMEA, as directed by the Re-versioning Manager.
The Creative department sits within MarComms and is responsible for the development and execution of a broad range of creative content for A+E Networks UK and its associated brands. This includes advertising campaigns, channel branding, on-air promotion, sponsorship credits, marketing showreels, and corporate presentations.

You need:
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Comprehensive knowledge of broadcast delivery requirements, including aspect ratios, tape and file formats and audio file formats; in order for effective delivery of EMEA work
• Excellent time management of own workload and to meet deliveries of the production process of the team and our suppliers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to effectively deliver high standard of creative work to deadlines
• Experience managing production workflows and deliveries
• Experience directing voice-overs, overseeing edits and audio sessions
• Experience of supervising team members’ work
• To be highly organised and self-motivated; able to work without regular supervision
• To be adaptable and able to cope with change; ability to work under pressure
• To be a team player

The role will require you to reversion promos - revise scripts, create branding and tune-in end boards in After Effects and edit, produce foreign language end boards, direct voice-overs and oversee audio and edit sessions, QC materials and TX files, and ensure delivery to agreed deadlines.
You will oversee the Assistant Producers in the re-versioning of promos as required - brief on requirements and approve work; work closely with Media Planning, Marketing Heads, Creative Heads, Broadcast Ops and Presentation to review suitability of promos for EMEA, and provide guidance on promo re-versioning and re-mastering; ensure the delivery of language and subtitling assets to external language companies and freelance producers and ensure suppliers meet deadlines.
Additionally you will arrange v/o requirements and delivery for ‘A’ Priority promo campaigns by working with the Heads of Creative, Production, and Account Management; provide monthly priority promos versions to the MarComms department; negotiate costs and maintains budgets as required; and deputise for the Re-versioning Manager as required.

Ad Sales and Sponsorship Manager EMEA

Job Description: We want someone to support the Head of International Ad Sales in developing A+E Network’s Pan Regional ad sales business. The role requires an established media sales person to maximise the revenue potential from the channel portfolio and supporting media platforms through development of bespoke integrated commercial partnerships with advertisers for both the UK and EMEA.
The role will work collaboratively with internal departments in the UK as well as across A+E Networks global offices to produce both effective sales materials, as well as project manage efficient booking and delivery of campaigns across all platforms. As well as independently selling campaigns to agencies and clients part of the role will involve supporting the Sky Media team in their drive to secure sponsorship deals.
The Commercial Operations department includes both distribution and ad sales functions of the organisation. We are strategic and creative in our approach to deal making, and have an ability to forge deep, meaningful relationships with key clients. Within our highly entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment we aim to work as a team in everything we do; and value open, honest communications in order to maintain the highest degree of integrity and professionalism.
You will need:
• Background and understanding of ad sales evaluation models and campaign delivery
• Established UK media agency/client relationships
• A working knowledge of the media planning process
• Excellent organisational, negotiation and presentation skills
• 1st class interpersonal, communication and written skills
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Ability to work across multiple projects and time lines
• Ability to use analytical research skills to develop strategic responses to client briefs
• Significant experience in Pan Regional Ad Sales
• To be driven, resilient and a team player
Key competencies are: Persuading and influencing, Analysing, Planning and organising, Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking.
The role will require you to secure commercial partnerships across A+E Networks portfolio of television channels, websites and media channels in both the UK and across EMEA to meet and exceed commercial targets. And manage and service agencies and clients, developing a close working relationship.
You will develop and maintain an effective database of new and existing clients with knowledge of planning cycles and processes; forecast revenues and develop a business plan to grow net revenue and exceed targets set for the financial year; and work closely with the marketing, digital, research, programming, and production teams to develop multi-platform commercial opportunities and effectively manage smooth delivery of projects.
Additionally you will administer the delivery of campaigns and create up to date files containing relevant information for all projects; monitor and report back to agencies/clients on campaign deliveries; and engage in trade marketing activities to support ad sales process.
